hollie and i have been the new island caretakers on brown island in friday harbor on san juan island for just three months now.  it has been a LOT of work, but also a LOT of fun.  the owners have all been great, and the tasks varied and new.  here's some pictures for friends and family of our house and some of our immediate surroundings...

the inside of the house is great with vaulted ceilings and a nice great room concept.  the floors are laminate and tile.  nice woodwork, too.
