we are looking for someone to enjoy and take care of our home.  we are working as island caretakers and will be gone for several years.  we would welcome your well-trained and well-behaved pets, and our house is designed for them.  pet deposit is negotiable depending upon pets.  we are dog lovers, so all the flooring is ultra-hard, and the carpet is especially stain-resistant and easily cleaned.  dog doors will be installed to allow controlled entry to the storage room and the house separately to intercept muddy pals. that said, the interior doors and trim are solid fir, so if your dog or cat is a "scratcher" or doesn't understand the difference between "inside behavior" and "outside behavior", this is not the house for you.

the house is available in april.  if your application is accepted, we will require a one-year lease, with one month's rent and a security deposit in advance.  the deposit is negotiable depending upon circumstances and pets.  verifiable references will be required.  monthly rent is $1275.  it's a big yard so TOTAL yard maintenance discount from rent is negotiable.  minimal yard care (mowing) is expected at the regular rental rate.  you want your yard nice, too!
